Innovation...
Since 1979, Ai Scientific has developed automated
sample handling processes for clinical and analytical laboratories
worldwide.
What have we learnt from
this experience?
You need talented people,
the highest regard for customers, world-class processes and innovation.
Innovation is given form
through a number of simple strategies to ensure high-quality manufacture
and equipment performance:
Customer Focus. All product development
is done in conjunction with customers. Each project starts with
a clear understanding of the User Requirements. Customers also review,
and comment on, the design during the development process.
Low Parts Count. The minimization of
parts results in less complicated assemblies, reduction in assembly
error rates, consistency of part quality and greater reliability.
Designed For Robustness. By designing
with a low sensitivity to component variation, higher first-pass
yields are made possible. to suit the real-world requirements
of today's working laboratory.
Minimise Adjustments. The minimisation
of adjustable components, which are usually subject to high failure
rates, dramatically lowers the potential instrument failure rate.
Easy Assembly. By making assembly easy,
through good design, parts are less likely to be incorrectly assembled
and ensure no damage to parts during assembly.
Efficient and Adequate Testing. Prototype
and pre-production models undergo multi-year equivalent life tests
to ensure a better assessment of quality. Extensive on-site beta
testing with selected partners is used to confirm the validity of
design concepts.
Review and Continuous Improvement. Production units are monitored to obtain service statistics which form the basic of our continuous improvement strategy.
