The new Liberty
TM Microwave Peptide Synthesizer from CEM produces cleaner peptides
with higher yields.
Liberty 's
microwave energy drives biochemical reactions to completion up to
10 times faster than by conventional methods, resulting in peptides
of greater purity. Reactions are not just faster, they are also
more complete when driven by microwave energy.
Automation enables
the CEM Liberty to synthesize up to 12 peptides from 0.1 - 1 mmol,
including the TFA cleavage step in one day. With a complete cycle
time of approximately 20 minutes, the Liberty TM can save up to
10 hours on a typical 15-mer peptide production compared with conventional
instrumentation.
