Ai Scientific Established
A.i. Scientific
was established under the original company name of Analytical Instruments.
During the early years, the company's primary task was acting as
the Queensland State distributor for various Australian scientific importers. |

1979
AIM100 Autosampler Released
The AIM100
was a 500 position system for Continuous Flow and ICP applications,
which provided our local customers with the robotic solutions they
asked for together with the imported analysers we supplied. |

1982
AIM200 Data Processor Released
With the
increasing popularity of the PC, the AIM200 Automated Data Processor
was launched for Continuous Flow Analysis customers to automate
the previously manual task of curve fitting and peak height measurement
and reporting. |

1984
Analytical Instruments Purchased by Stephen & Joanne Pronk
Stephen had
joined Analytical Instruments in 1978 and six years later purchased
the company. Stephen and Joanne Pronk introduced additional product
lines to strengthen sales and increase distribution to cover Australia. |

1986
AIM500 Digestor Released
The AIM500
Block Digestion System, was originally developed for the Chinese
market and with 50 positions is still the highest capacity block
digestor commercially available. |

New Brisbane Office Opened
Analytical Instruments built
its own premises at Scarborough, on the Pacific Ocean foreshore to accommodate new
staff and the demands of a growing business. |

1988
First major OEM Contract
New markets were sought for
the company's manufactured products and the company entered into
its first OEM agreement with a Swiss instrument manufacturer for
the AIM101 Autosampler. |

1989
Quality Assurance:
ISO9001
The company commenced
work on the implementation of Quality Assurance to ISO9001 standards
- the first step in an ongoing program of continual improvement.

1990
Sydney Office Opened
Company office was opened in
Sydney with representative agents appointed in all other Australian
states. A new office was built in Scarborough, Brisbane. |

1991
USA Office Opened
An office was established in
USA in 1991 to support the company's North American customers. |

1992 AIM1250 mk2 Autosampler Released
The company released the AIM1250 Autosampler and changed its name
to A.i. Scientific to better reflect the market we serve on an international
level. |

1993 Melbourne Office Opened
An office was established in
Melbourne to better service customers in the southern region of
Australia and Ai Scientific received the Australian Design Award
for the AIM1250 Autosampler. |

1994
New Zealand Office Opened
Office established in Auckland
, New Zealand to supply & support products from Ai Scientific
and other leading instrument manufacturers. |

1995
Automation for Pathology Labs
Commenced investigation into
the feasibility of a new sample preparation and management system
for pathology laboratories. |

1998
PathFinder mk1 Installed
Ai Scientific's reputation as
a manufacturer of innovative laboratory automation products was
boosted with the installation of the PathFinder Automated
Tube Management System at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane. |

1999
Applications Laboratory Opened
To support the growing number
of Ai Scientific installations, a fully-equipped applications laboratory
was established in Sydney. |

2000
PathFinder mk2 Released
The new millennium marked the
first shipments of PathFinder Automated Tube Management systems
to pathology laboratories in Europe and Australia. |

2002 AIM3000 Series Autosampler Released
In partnership with a leading
analytical instrument manufacturer, Ai Scientific released the innovative AIM3200 and AIM3300 Autosamplers. |

2003
New Head Office Opened
International head office, design, manufacturing, service
and demonstration laboratory were consolidated under one roof at Clontarf, on
the Moreton Bay waterfront in Brisbane. |

2004 AIM1250 mkII Released
The original XYZ AIM1250 is completely redesigned to provide more reliable, faster, lower cost performance. |

An AIM3600 autosampler provides double the sample capacity for high throughput labs. |

2006 AIM600 Digestor Released
The AIM600 Block Digestor systems builds on the 20 year performance pedigree of our AIM500 Block Digestor range to provide new features. global regulatory compliance and superior temperature stability across the block. |

2007 PathFinder Sorter Released
The PathFinder Sorter automated various tube sorting processes within pathology labs. |
